This afternoon we did finger painting! The kids seemed to enjoy it (as did Steph – it was her first time finger painting!) Of course, I think they liked painting themselves more than the paper!! I love doing art stuff… so much fun to watch them explore the materials & create something all on their own (even if it’s just a mess – that in itself can be lots of fun!!)
In but a few short months they will be doing art on each other

Little Miss's face is priceless in that last pic!I'm totally stealing the idea of taping the paper down. We've tried markers and finger paints (the crayola kind that only paint on the special paper) and both were disasters. They didn't seem to get it, and just wanted to eat the markers. I figure I'll try again in a month or so.
Perfect time to play with fingerpaints…you can just hose them down after they are done

How fun! Braden does a lot of painting at his daycare and loves it! I especially love the art we get to hang up:) So fun!
